ABout me
My name is Jemima Shepherd, a future Exeter university student who is passionate about conservation and the ever pressing issue of global warming. I am looking to pursue conservational journalism, hence my blog writing which I am utilising to develop my skills further.
I have recently returned from Kenya where I was given an in-depth insight into conservation at Lewa Conservancy. We also collected data of animal populations at Il Ngwesi community ranch, and received an introduction to permaculture farming - which we then passed on to students at Lukosero secondary school. Culsans Gap Travel are the company which took me on these once in a lifetime opportunities, and I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone interested in pursuing a conservational, sustainable travel focused gap year.
